Conditions of Sale

To qualify to buy wholesale, you must be actively involved in the wholesale or retail redistribution of plants, i.e. landscape contractors, building contractors, nurseries, garden centers, schools, towns, and municipalities. We are not staffed to handle retail customers, nor can we quote them wholesale prices. You are welcome to accompany your clients to the nursery, but please do not send your clients to the nursery by themselves as they will not be allowed on the nursery.

Terms of Sale

Our terms are due on receipt. After doing business with us for six (6) months, all customers can apply for a 30 day credit account. A service charge of 2% will be applied to all accounts over 30 days. All accounts over 60 days will be converted to a cash-only basis. All accounts over 90 days will be turned over for collection with costs of collection and the finance charges added to your balance. As a courtesy, we will mail you a monthly statement. Invoices are received by the customer at the time of sale and/or delivery. We do not mail invoices. For your convenience we will accept Visa, MasterCard, and debit cards. There is a $35 service charge for all returned checks. Please do not hesitate to call our accounting department if you have questions about your account.

Guarantee

We guarantee our plants to be healthy and true to name. Due to conditions beyond our control, we offer no warranty, expressed or implied, on our plants once they leave the nursery. Any problems must be reported within 5 days of sale in order to be considered for adjustment. Pender Nursery will gladly correct problems that are our fault, but cannot be held liable for any amount greater than the purchase price of that plant. All plants are subject to prior sale.

Image Use Policy

Unless otherwise identified, all images on Pender Nursery, Inc. ® website were taken by Chris Hardison and are the property of Pender Nursery. All images are copyrighted and may not be used for any purpose without permission from Pender Nursery.

Pender Nursery will usually allow the use of images at no charge for educational and non-profit purposes. Images may also be used by garden centers and landscapers who purchase from Pender Nursery, and use is limited to promotion of the business to which image use is granted. We ask that Pender Nursery be credited.

Image use for commercial applications will usually be allowed for a one time charge of $100. This would include uses such as commercial tag printing, retail mail-order catalogs, gardening magazines, and books. We ask that Pender Nursery be credited.
